I have copied across text from one file to another, but on a single page the text is broken up into four paragraphs with larger than usual line spacing. The original is regular line spacing, but even if I strip the formatting of the pasted text, the extra line spacing is still there. It seems to be triggered by selecting ‘justified’ in vertical alignment, but that’s what I want – to have the lines level at top and bottom. Turn on the display of non-printing characters it may be best to view the page in Draft mode.
Another cause could be that the first paragraph on the page immediately following has “Page Break Before” set or “Keep with Next” or “Keep Lines Together.
